Cranston, R.I. – Tuesday, July 16, 2019—Trilix Founder Tim Hebert, a perennial entrepreneur and business owner, has been named to the Providence Business News’ inaugural “25 Over 55” honoree list. The list recognizes 25 RI and Southeastern MA leaders over the age of 55 for their “notable success and strong leadership both in their fields and to the region,” according to the publication.
Hebert has been a business owner for more than three decades, having previously served as CEO and President of Atrion, a Rhode Island-based IT services firm that grew from a two-man operation to a $160-million, 260-plus employee organization. Coming off the heels of a successful tenure at Atrion, Hebert founded Trilix in 2017, a technology and business consulting firm and his 19th company. Hebert introduced a leadership model at Trilix that empowers a new generation of leaders to run Trilix, evidencing Hebert’s continued commitment to leaving a positive impact on others.
In addition to starting Trilix, Hebert launched Dirigo Leadership Consulting in 2018 which allows him to expand his ability to provide leadership development trainings throughout the greater New England area. His inaugural leadership conference, ON, will take place November 21, 2019, in Rhode Island—a half-day conference that will explore how to navigate change, transition and transformation with heightened clarity and confidence.
“I am so grateful and honored to receive this award from PBN,” says Hebert. “We as leaders have a responsibility to leave our communities a little better than we found them, and that responsibility exists at all levels—whether we are the CEO, in business for ourselves or just starting out on our career. One of the things I have enjoyed most these last few years is being able to spend more time investing in the careers of others, most recently through Trilix and Dirigo. There is no greater joy than passing the baton along to the next wave of leaders and, in so doing, paying it forward.”
Hebert’s commitment to positive impact has been demonstrated for more than three decades, from Atrion being recognized as a Best of Places to Work company for seven consecutive years to Hebert training more than 2,000 professionals on how to lead with greater intentionality through his signature Leadership Challenge Workshop. He has educated on the topics of workplace culture, intentional leadership and business strategy as a published author and national keynoter.
What’s more, with his support, Trilix has been able to have a considerable impact on the local economy by partnering with community-based organizations who are looking to leverage mobile apps, business intelligence and software solutions to accelerate favorable business outcomes. Some of Trilix’s most recent work has included working with a local nonprofit on creating a custom membership portal to deeper connection with its community and helping insurance agencies leverage systems integration and business intelligence to expedite productivity and performance.
“When we started Trilix, we were passionate about building a world-class organization that put people first, a core value that was greatly influenced by the way Tim has built a career upon putting people—employees, clients, partners, community members, etc.—first,” says Erica Davies, Trilix VP of Operations. “Since our inception, we have been able to infuse many wining components of Tim’s ideology into our business model—from having a purpose that is bigger than what we do to building unbreakable client relations—while also being encouraged to bring in new philosophies and methodologies to shape our future. We are excited to be able to celebrate and honor Tim with this recent accolade!”
