Cranston, R.I. – Monday, Sept. 30, 2019—In response to rising client interest in developing and strengthening their data strategies and solutions, Trilix recently announced the launch of its Business Intelligence Practice, designed to help leaders build data strategies and introduce intelligence solutions that allow them to realize financial, growth, productivity and efficiency gains. Today, as part of the continued expansion of the practice, Trilix welcomes to its team Rob Ulmschneider, Director of Business Intelligence Solutions.

Ulmschneider comes to Trilix with more than a decade of progressive experience in business intelligence, data strategy, technical, managerial and strategic positions. As Manager of Configuration and Business Intelligence at the Conference Exchange, Ulmschneider and his team specialized in rapidly delivering data to support their clients’ needs and initiatives. Ulmschneider also provided business intelligence and system implementation services to financial institutions as an independent consultant, and prior to that was Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, for First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union.

“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Rob to Team Trilix. In his role, Rob will be responsible for setting the vision and trajectory of our Business Intelligence Practice, ensuring that we create and offer the data services and solutions that help our existing and potential clients leverage data as a powerful tool to move their business forward,” says Erica Davies, Trilix’s VP of Operations. “Rob has deep expertise in helping businesses and leaders build data-based solutions that help them achieve high-level strategic corporate goals. With Rob at the helm of our practice, we look forward to helping a larger number of companies and leaders accelerate their data journeys.”

As part of its Business Intelligence Practice, Trilix offers services and solutions that support business leaders no matter where they are on their data trajectory, whether they are at the beginning with very little technology in place to harness or even collect data, or are further along and interested in leveraging their structured data to draw insights. Among its offerings, Trilix helps clients with:

  • Data strategy creation
  • Business intelligence tools evaluation, selection and implementation
  • Warehousing and ETL processes
  • Data platform training for end-users
  • Data visualization, dashboards & storytelling

In addition to continuing to expand and strengthen Trilix’s Business Intelligence Practice, Ulmschneider will also provide educational workshops and trainings throughout the greater New England area on how to implement data as a core component to a successful business strategy. His workshop series will kick-off with a public data training on November 8 at Innovate Newport, a co-working and economic development hub in Rhode Island.

“I am very excited to join the Trilix team and lead their Business Intelligence Practice from the ground up,” says Ulmschneider. “Business Intelligence is rapidly becoming a critical component to creating and maintaining growth for organizations of all sizes. I am greatly looking forward to helping the companies in our community make their data paint a meaningful picture.”
